Red Truck Beer  |  Supporting Partner

Red Truck Beer Company is a local brewery located right here in Vancouver! Our beer is built on the values of a simpler time, when you didn’t need a dictionary to order a drink, and when trucks went to work, not the mall. Red Truck Beer is made to be a reminder of those days, when all you needed for good times was a ride, some friends, and some cold beers.

Visit the Red Truck Patio in Creekside Park for a refreshing beverage, and soak in the sun on Vancouver’s biggest outdoor patio!

Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office  |  Government and Public Partner

The Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Toronto (HKETO) is the official representative of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region in Canada. Our mission is to promote and facilitate economic, trade and cultural exchanges between Hong Kong and Canada. HKETO is pleased to be the sponsor of the Concord Pacific Dragon Boat Festival this year.

Hong Kong is the birth place of modern dragon boat racing. We hosted the first international racing event four decades ago and subsequently introduced this exciting water sport to Canada at the 1986 World Expo in Vancouver. Since then, dragon boat racing has developed into a popular sport not only across Canada but also around the world.

The Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office is proud to support the display of an original Expo 86 teak dragon boat. Visit near the TD Main Stage to see the boat on display!

2024 Marketplace and Community Exhibitors

Visit vendors and community exhibitors at the Festival to see unique items and experiences from our community.

TD Main Stage Zone: Chinatown Pavilion

Learn about the deep traditions behind the dragon boat festival, and its origins in Vancouver’s Chinatown with family-friendly arts and craft activities, displays from local community partner organizations,   Pavilion programming published in early June.

TD Main Stage Zone: Indigenous Cultural Pavilion

The Festival is hosted on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded lands and waters of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) nations. As part of our ongoing work to share our space with Indigenous communities and to honour the centuries of interconnection between Chinese and Indigenous communities, we are pleased to work with local Indigenous artists, elders, and organizations to program the Indigenous Cultural Pavilion.

TD Main Stage Zone: Pride Pavilion

Paddle with pride; we’re proud to add the Pride Pavilion for 2024 to our programming on-site. Paddling has been a place where the queer community can come together, including through teams and the Pride Cup. And as Vancouver gets set to host Canada Pride in August at Concord Pacific Place, the Festival is working with Vancouver Pride Society and its community partners to showcase queer sports leagues and teams operating in our community.
